My First Blog Is A Blob
The beginning of an edible cell
We started out with a plain bowl of yellow Jell-O. The night before, we made it like normal jello, but we added one box of Knox Gelatin and an extra cup of cold water. Oh, we sprayed Pam in the bowl.
Then, we decided what kind of candy would stand for each part of the cell.
We used sharp knives to make little crosses in the jello for our organelles to fit into.
Some did not want to go in. We had to be careful not to cut all the way through to the bottom of the bowl.
Then we dumped (flipped) the bowl onto a plate and lifted it off. Here I am with my yummy cell.
